Different side of the past and future in Malioboro

During 1980 in Yogyakarta, who doesn't know about Malioboro streets? nowdays, it changed in many renovation in but back in 1980, Malioboro only had one side streets. The streets also wide. There's many pedestrian who could pass through without worries to the vehicle hitting them or they could also walked freely in the sidewalk without worrying into some pickpockets who could steal their money. There's also many trees which are stood in every side of Yogyakarta. So, the air still fresh. We can enjoy our meal in the branch in the sidewalk without worrying into the air pollution and also back then, the vehicle did not pollute yogyakarta so, some of citizen or even tourism had chosen carriage to bring them to see around Yogyakarta.

But nowdays,  the gentleness of Yogyakarta city already gone sweep within the time. Malioboro streets now divided into two side because the needs of vehicle continual increase, it makes Yogyakarta government divided those street into two side. Not only that, it also hard to pass into sidewalk from different side now.. because the increased of vehicle makes the street crowded so it's to hard to passing it. Because, there's no control of vehicle problems, we loosed our fresh air not only that; increasing of vehicles, the crowded population and also the illegal logging makes the air more decrease but the consumed of the air more increase.  Not only that, we must not let our guard down if we pass through the sidewalk alone or with friends or family because every pickpocket in the Malioboro streets will welcoming you if you had many money in your pocket.
