There's something interesting which i learnt from my lecturer on Monday may 13th 2013, an interesting interview that i never forget. There someone sit nicely on chair with warm welcome. Someone that i never expected before.. someone who are not being appreciated on public and someone who never afraid from what they have chosen. yes, a transgender or you should call them LGBT (acronym for Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) for first time i looked him or should i change to her? ehem.. alright, i looked down on her. because, in the past i had bad experience with one of them.. till now i still hate them. geez.. what a pain.
But when i saw her, everything my opinion about those kind of thing changes. I learnt so many things from her. Life is already hard, when we changed to something different from the other people the struggle which might we face would be more harder. That was happened to her, even three years had past.. she has not be welcome by her family. But, i never sees those eyes before. she said " this is my life, i'm already choosed my path and become woman is my choice" said her, or should we call her Sonya. I don't know but in Indonesia many people still rejected their appearance and felt uneasy if seeing them. She never let the fire turns off, the will of life and the will to help people. They also human right? they also want to become useful to many people not be want as ragtag.
In my country Indonesia, not many expected their appearance on society even they helped they will not easily being accept in there. It seems liked want to eliminate their appearance in this world. What i thought is, they are human, people same like us. Every human from this world has a right to defend them self or to make better life. So, why looked down at them? are we better than them? we are not a god himself. The one who could valuate us is god. We never know what he thought about this. Right? so we as human needs to evaluate ourself. Dont look down at someone which are different from you. Someday those people will stunned you and make you as big fans of them or make you learnt their life.
